The crown of the tooth is what's visible above the gum line, it is covered by enamel.  The root extends into upper or lower jaw bones, is covered by cementum, which is softer and less white than enamel. Different teeth have different root formations, molars, like this tooth, can have one two or three roots depending on their type and location on the mouth. Crafted from Chechen wood with Holly wood and Curly Maple inlays.
